how eft (tapping) can help you manifest your dream life
Emotional Freedom Tapping Technique, better known as EFT or Tapping, is a psychotherapy used to release resistance. It’s popularly used by psychotherapists to heal anxiety and even physical pain by tapping on to inner trauma responsible for the manifestation of this pain or resistance.
The EFT technique is a combination of Chinese medicine acupuncture and positive psychology. Tapping helps in reprogramming the mindset through shift in energy (Qi in Chinese) and vibration of the thought process by tapping onto certain energy meridian points,. As we tap onto this energy meridien points, we vocal speak sentences and affirmations which trigger the place where the pain or trauma is stored, hence releasing it through the process.
A popular healing modality, EFT is now being adopted by a lot of mindset and manifestation coaches to reprogram the mindset and manifest their dream life. How does that happen?
Well, it is based on the same Law of Attraction we use to shift our thoughts and manifest our dream lives.
According to the Law of Attraction, Like attracts like.
This means that whatever vibration you are sending out in the Universe, you are attracting more of the same. If you send out a vibration of lack, you attract more lack. If you vibrate with love, you attract love.
The thing with energy and vibration is that it doesn’t lie. Even if you say on the conscious level that you want more abundance but deep inside, you have a story of deep lack from your past, your family upbringing, your childhood or even with your past life, you will always send out a vibration of lack and will repel abundance.
This is why it is important to heal your mind, body and soul from the core.
When we skip the healing, and force ourselves to manifest positive outcomes by repeating positive thoughts, it can feel really frustrating because you keep on triggering your wounds present in your system.
Forcing yourself to think more positive thoughts eventually doesn’t work and we end up giving up on our dreams or the law of attraction itself. But just because we have given up, doesn’t mean that it doesn’t exist, right?
The Universal Laws are ever existent and true. You are always manifesting your realities based on your inner story and vibration.
This is where EFT (Tapping) comes into the picture. This is where we can use EFT tapping to identify and heal these wounded spaces. Tapping on to certain energy meridian points by speaking words of healing, releasing and affirming can lead to clearing these blocks on a cellular level. While one session is mostly enough, depending on how deep the wound or trauma is, you might want to rinse and repeat.
How to do Tapping
Set an intention and identify your limiting belief: Set the intention of your eft tapping. What do you want to clear or heal in this tapping session? What is your desired result with this session? Why are you doing this? With a clear intention, it becomes easier to tap into the energies and let your intuition guide you. If you do this with a coach, they can help you figure out your most pressing issue and your subconscious core belief system running that issue in your reality.
Set a sacred space: Even though EFT tapping is said to be a mental healing modality, we cannot deny how powerful of energetic work is this. This is a sacred work of working with yourself and your innermost wounds and blocks. Create a sacred space with some candles, clean quiet space, a journal around you to write your experiences, and perhaps, a meditation pillow.
Start tapping: While it’s safe to tap by yourself, it’s recommended to do it with a trusted mentor or coach who is there to support you incase you trigger a deeper wound and don’t know how to handle it. Tap onto this place a couple of times following with tapping onto other points as you will be addressing negative issues, feelings, hurt, stories and releasing them as you speak them out loudly. After a couple of rounds, you can move onto reframing your problems and start affirming positively. . Again, this may seem intimidating at first, so I highly recommend following with videos, a sequence script, or an eft recording handed by your coach/healer.

Post Tapping: As you do this tapping, you might notice shifts in your body. You might find yourself releasing through tears, burps or simply energy. Make sure you hydrate yourself enough post tapping. Take some time to let the process integrate before shifting to next reality. You can definitely continue tapping until you start feeling better.
