Sometimes we can feel low – just plain old, low. We have been conditioned to cover it up and go on with our days, but a lot of us are realizing how that doesn’t work! Every trigger is a call to heal deeper.. Instead of suppressing it further, try facing it. Get courageous to see it and go deeper with it. Are you courageous and kind enough to sit with your feelings and let them reveal to you why they are here and what’s their intention. Stop shaming yourself for feeling. All emotions are valid. Embrace this moment of feeling low and then, meet her halfway through this self healing journey I am sharing down below.
Sit in a calming space followed by some deep breaths to bring your body at ease. Grab your journal and a pen.
follow this journaling exercise you can use to deal with anything you are triggered with right now:
- What is weighing heavy on my heart right now?
- Write down your feelings in as many details as possible.
- What shameful and critical thoughts do I have about feeling this way?
- Write a letter to yourself in the second person just the way you’d want anyone else to talk to you right now.
